Cargo Securement System 

A cargo securement system must do more than simply hold cargo in place. It must be capable of preventing cargo movement during normal driving conditions and emergency maneuvers such as hard braking, sudden acceleration, and sharp turns. NSC Standard 10 establishes minimum performance standards that every cargo securement system must meet. These standards ensure that cargo remains contained, immobilized, or restrained throughout transportation.
